Cricket Coaching
Year 5 had fun in the sun on Monday 30th June when we visited Kingston Bagpuize Cricket Club. We were very lucky to spend a session with them and learn more about the techniques of bowling and batting.
Rubicon- Skateboarding Workshop
Poplar class had lots of fun during our skateboarding workshop today. Mrs Kane was very impressed with how quickly we picked up the tips and tricks from our instructor. Well done Team Poplar!
In art this term we studied the artist Chris Gilmour who is a British sculptor from Manchester. We used some of his techniques to create our own cardboard sculptures portraits. We particularly focused on the shapes of our eyes, nose and mouth.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
