Our School Curriculum Lead is Mrs Wilson, Deputy Head. Her role is to oversee the curriculum; its progressive and sequential planning; its teaching and learning; including the enrichment of the curriculum, bringing the curriculum to life for our pupils.
Our curriculum is based on reading and we want our children to continue to develop a love of literature and have a passion for reading. Through our key texts, we plan and make links to the wider curriculum, where we aim to inspire children to engage with the breadth of the curriculum. Each term, you will receive information about the curriculum through our topic webs. We also hold Meet the Teacher information meetings at the start of the new academic year, so that you can find out more about what your child will be learning about. You will be invited into class assemblies as well as classroom-based show case afternoons where the children will share with you their curriculum coverage and you will have the opportunity to see their work in more detail.
