Science Week - March 2022
Last week, we had great fun planning, carrying out and presenting our own science investigations. We worked in groups and took ownership of the whole process. Have a look at our fantastic posters below!
Visit from Mini Grey
On Friday 4th March, we were lucky enough to have a visit from Mini Grey. We loved our workshop with her, where she told us all about how she writes her books as well as experiencing a range of her stories.
World Book Day
On Thursday, we had a great day celebrating all things reading! Have a look at our costumes below!
Science - Separating Mixtures
We are really enjoying our science unit this term, which is all to do with changes and properties of materials. Last week, we learnt how to separate a range of different mixtures, by using filtration, sieving, evaporation and magnetic attraction.
Limericks
Last week, we enjoyed writing limericks linked to our books. Roman names are incredibly tricky to rhyme so we had to think carefully about how to write our limerick whilst following the rules!
