On Wednesday 3rd July, some of our Year 6 children along with Harrison from Year 4, competed in the Quadkids Final over at Tilsley Park. Our Year 6 girls team consisting of Tilly, Ava, Enny, Ellie and Arabella and our Year 6 boys team of Freddie, William, Reuben, Allyus and Jackson, had qualified for the final by winning our local Quadkids events.
The children all performed brilliantly, with our Year 6 team finishing in fourth place overall. There were also some outstanding individual performances, with Harrison finishing second overall in his age group and Allyus finishing third in the Year 6 boys category. Well done to everyone for representing the school so well and a big thank you to the staff (Mrs King and Mrs Kuzmina) and parents for making the event possible for the children.

Message from Andy- Organiser of Sleigh 2 Give-
I just wanted to drop a very quick email from everyone at Play2Give to say wow what an amazing amount of donations yet again towards our sixth "Sleigh2Give" Christmas campaign this year.
There will for sure be lots of very happy smiley children this Christmas thanks to the amazing generosity of the children and families of the school.
It was great to meet some of the children.
Yet again JBS have done an amazing job collecting so many gifts for children less fortunate this Christmas, and the volume of presents is just incredible- even more extraordinary this year with the situation around Coronavirus
Its really is heart-warming.
