John Blandy was the Sheriff of Berkshire. Our school is named after him as when he died in 1736, he left £1200 to set up a school to teach boys the art of Navigation.
Although we have moved site, and it is over 280 years since the original school was created, we are all still explorers- finding things out, trying new skills and navigating our way through a vast ocean of experiences.
Our school is full of dedicated, enthusiastic people who help our children develop and succeed through a rich skills based curriculum. The children are just like explorers- encouraged to take risks, work together in teams and learn something new each day!
