Art - Frankie Greig

 

In art this term, our artist focus is Frankie Greig. We have been using different mediums to create facial features inspired by our focus artist.

World Book Day 2024

DT - electrical systems

 

In DT this term, we are making cards that include electrical systems. This means that we will include LED lights in our cards using copper wire and coin batteries. Before designing our cards, we had a go at trying to use the copper wire, coin batteries and LED lights: 

                                          

 

Then, we each designed 4 different cards: 

              

 

After this, we started making the cards.

Geography - our local area

 

This term, we have been learning about our local area in geography. We started by looking at some of the services in our local area and decided whether they were physical or human geography features.

                                      

 

As part of our learning, we have also looked at how people in our local area travel to work. We presented our results using bar graphs:
