We have linked our learning about the Victorians to our art and focused on the work of William Morris. It was great to look at his work and talk about our likes and dislikes. We learned that William Morris used printing to create his work and that his work linked with nature.

RE: Judaism Beliefs and Practices
In RE this term, we have been focussing on Judaism. We particularly enjoyed learning about the Mezuzah which is a small scroll containing Hebrew verses from the Shema prayer. The scroll is rolled up and kept in a special case which is fixed to the doorpost of Jewish homes. We made mezuzahs which contained our own promises.

This term we are learning about the Victorian period and have linked our art by focusing on the work of William Morris. We have looked closely at flowers and leaves to see the shapes and textures we can use in our end project. Here we are in action
