Support to our families

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. If you are worried about a child or family, it is your duty to talk to someone and get help.

You can e-mail Mrs Elliott who is the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or contact Mrs Wilson and Miss Evans who are deputy DSLs.

They will follow the right channels to provide support.

If you prefer to discuss with someone external, you can contact the South team Locality and Community Support Service (LCSS) 0345 050 7666 or for an immediate concern about harm to a child contact the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) on 0345 050 7666.

PSHE & RSHE

As part of RSHE Curriculum, we teach children about healthy relationships, so that children understand what positive and healthy relationships look like.

Operation Encompass

The core purpose of Operation Encompass is to enable support to be given to the child victims of Domestic Abuse. Key Adults (the Designated Safeguarding Lead) have knowledge of domestic abuse and the impact on children.
