    School attendance 2024-2025: 96.6%

    School Target 2025-2026: 97%

We recognise the importance of regular, punctual attendance and we work closely with our families to ensure pupil attendance is at least good (above 95%). Our curriculum is well sequenced and progressive and therefore pupils who miss school frequently will be detrimental to their learning and education.

The school day starts at 8.30am. Learning is available to the children as soon as they come into class in the morning.

The gates are promptly closed at 8.40am.

If your child is late, they need to be accompanied to the school office, where they will need to be signed in on the electronic Sign-In app.

The school day finishes at 3pm.

We recognise that there may be times that a child may need to attend hospital visits and these are authorised at all times.

We ask that the booking of dentist/GP appointments are made outside of the school day where possible. If this cannot be avoided, proof of appointments will be requested.

Parents and carers can check their child's attendance using Bromcom. Attendance updates are also provided by the class teacher during Parents' Evenings and throughout the year, if needed.

Term time holidays are not permitted; we work with Oxfordshire County Council, where requests for term time holidays may result in a fine.
