Owl visit

In English, Elm class have been reading and learning all about the story ' The owl who was afraid of the dark'. To help us understand more about owls, we had a very exciting visit from Millets farm and got up close and personal with some very special animals. 

We all loved seeing the barn owl fly right above our heads and all got the chance to hold a little owl!   

        Harvest art

As part of our harvest celebrations, we made wreaths to hang on the door. We thought about the colours of autumnal leaves and then drew different foods that are harvested by the farmers. We are grateful of the hard work farmers do. 

Science - animals

We are learning about animals in science. Here we are exploring the animal groups through classification. We enjoyed learning facts about different animals as we grouped them.
