    English Lesson - Sentence Starters

    In English, we were asked to match different sentence starters with the end of a sentence. We had to check whether it made sense and whether it was the right choice. 

     

    Geography Lesson - Map Investigation

    In Geography, we were asked what we knew about maps and why they were important. We explored a range of different maps and discussed what we found.

    Year 2 Maths Lesson - 2 digit numbers

    We used physical resources to create tens and ones of 2 digit numbers. Then, we wrote down the tens and ones on our white boards.

    Art Lesson - Creating a piece of art inspired by Piet Mondrian

    In Art, we were asked to re-create a famous painting in the style of artist Piet Mondrian. We used primary colours and recreated his abstract art but in our own style. We had lots of fun.

    Year 2 Maths Lesson - Cuisenaire Rods Investigation

    In maths, we used cuisenaire rods to help visualise the relationships between different numbers. In our investigation, we saw that if you kept the difference the same, you could find a range of different number combinations.

     

    DT Lesson - Investigating different joins

    During our lesson, we learnt about a range of different joining techniques such as using a flange, L-brace and slot. We learnt about how they are made and had a go at joining materials together using these techniques
