    Science

In Cedar class, we have been learning about the digestive system. We recreated in our table groups the process that our food goes through when it is digested. We made a lot of mess and then did a great job tidying up!

    Harvest Assembly

We performed a song to our parents about the Twelve Days of Harvest to the tune of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Cedar class did a fantastic job. See one of our practises below!

    Victorian Day

For Yr3/4's Victorian Day, the children came in dressed up as Victorian Schoolchildren, and we had a day of (mainly!) authentic Victorian Lessons. We sang the National Anthem to Queen Victoria and Arithmetic involved a lot of chanting! The children practised spellings and timetables using chalk on black paper. We played some traditional Victorian games and read some poems. In the afternoon, we split into boys and girls. The girls practised their sewing skills, whilst the boys had a go at technical drawing. We had a go at a Victorian style drill on the playground where the children practised marching.
