RE - Hinduism

Sycamore have been learning about Hinduism. We have been learning about Diwali, how it is celebrated and why it's important. Below are some pictures of the fantastic Diwali lamps we made. 

Art – Stone Age art 

This term, our Art, history and English all link to the Stone Age. This has been fantastic for the children to make links and learn about all the different elements of Stone Age life! This week, we took our artists out onto the playground and they used pencils and oil pastels to recreate their own versions of cave drawings. The playground terrain gave the children a sense of what it would have been like to draw on a surface that is not entirely smooth. They absolutely loved it!
