    DT- Prototype Bridges

This term we have been learning all about different types of bridges. We were then given a design brief to follow using a scaled model. We worked in groups to build our bridges.

    Our design brief:

    • Our bridge had to span a gap of 50cm
    • It had to have a clearance of 20cm
    • It had to allow traffic in both directions
    • It had to be strong and attractive.

    Ukuleles

We have been learning how to play the ukulele. We know the names of the different parts of the instrument and the strings that are used. We have begun to play along to a song. Next term we will show you a video!

    China Day

On Friday 14th  February we had our China Day as we have been learning about the Shang Dynasty in History this term. We came to school dressed in read, yellow and green and had lots of fun creating Chinese New Year crafts, making Chinese dumplings and learning how to use chopsticks.
