Year 5/6  Police Workshop

We had a visit from PC Dix, who came to speak with us about keeping safe and being a positive citizen in our community. Poplar listened really well to conversations about how to keep safe online, what is considered anti-social behaviour and the importance of obtaining and acknowledging consent from others.  We asked some interesting questions and now feel better informed on how to make a positive contribution to our class, school and local community.

Williams Racing STEM Trip

Poplar Class, along with some lucky children from Walnut and Sycamore, were fortunate enough to attend the Williams Racing STEM day on Thursday 9th October. We had a fantastic time exploring their private museum, racing on their high-tech simulators and learning all about crumple ones and nose cones in our STEM workshop.
